Quick bio:

Grew up in Racine, WI, and spent most of my athletic career as an 800m runner on the track. Discovered cycling about 5 years ago and haven't looked back! My philosophy as a coach is that the ENTIRE body must be well trained for any athlete to maximize their potential on the bike. That means core work and some upper body as well! Just a little bit makes a huge difference!

COACH

# of Years Coaching:

Coaching and leading classes as long as I can remember!

Favorite thing about riding at the Barn:

Riding with others who LOVE being outside and appreciate the joy of being out on a bike.

Favorite splurge food/treat:

Dark Chocolate, but it is really more of a staple :)!! Zanzibar Dark Chocolate Ice Cream from Wedl's in Jefferson.  That is more of a treat!

Favorite race:

Ironman World Championship in Kona X2. One of my mantras during the race was to embrace the experience.  I truly felt I did that because I feel it often when out on my bike riding by myself.

What are you doing when not on your bike?

Picked up a new hobby when I got Remi our Brittnay Spaniel and now go bird hunting with my husband John and our 2 dogs Rex and Remi.  Not a great shot, yet ... but I am working on it :). Cross Country Skiing is my winter thing and spending time at our cabin in Clam Lake.

Health and Wellness Coordinator, YMCA at Pabst Farms
