What I’m doing when not at Barn:

Golfing or coaching swimming

Country (because it's the only music we don’t really play at the Barn.)

Currently it's Ted Lasso

BEACH!

Favorite thing about riding at the Barn:

I get to ride my own bike on trainers as close to the outdoors experience as possible with people who share my passion.

What are you doing when not on your bike?

Dreaming of my next ride (or two or three).

Favorite type of music: 

Most anything from the 70s or 80s (can you guess my age?)

 

Binge-worthy TV you are watching:

I don't watch, I read.  (NERD!)

 

Real job: 

Don't have one.  Retirement is now my longest help job. . .

we are excited to bring Steve's talents to the barn!

Aside from cycling, my other passion is yoga. Yoga has made me a better cyclist and cycling has made me a better yogi.

Getting to meet and ride with folks who love to ride!

Cream-filled long john’s with maple icing from Kwik Trip. I suffer through the vanilla icing when the rare maple is unavailable.

What I’m doing when not at Barn:

You can find me teaching at the Y, chasing my kids around to volleyball and dance events, or, if I'm lucky, on the Ice Age Trail.

Freelance Graphic Designer with an Etsy shop selling digital art.

I need my toes in the sand at least once a year.

Either running, swimming or spending time with hubby and running after our almost 2 year old son.

Beach! But if I could have both in one place, I’ll take it!

Favorite thing about riding at the Barn:

Riding with others who LOVE being outside and appreciate the joy of being out on a bike.

Favorite splurge food/treat:

Dark Chocolate, but it is really more of a staple :)!! Zanzibar Dark Chocolate Ice Cream from Wedl's in Jefferson.  That is more of a treat!

Favorite race:

Ironman World Championship in Kona X2. One of my mantras during the race was to embrace the experience.  I truly felt I did that because I feel it often when out on my bike riding by myself.

What are you doing when not on your bike?

Picked up a new hobby when I got Remi our Brittnay Spaniel and now go bird hunting with my husband John and our 2 dogs Rex and Remi.  Not a great shot, yet ... but I am working on it :). Cross Country Skiing is my winter thing and spending time at our cabin in Clam Lake.

Running, hanging with my husband and our black lab Kona, or planning our favorite trip – backcountry canoeing in the Boundary Waters!
